The Crow Demons of Otsuna
The Crow Demons of Otsuna is the fifth story mission of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. It revolves around finding and stopping the source of a new enemy, Tengu.
Game Mechanic – Tengu
Tengu, or crow demons, are troublesome enemies mainly because they shoot a barrage of crows at players, blocking the field of view while also dealing damage. Additionally, they wield a spear and have attacks similar to other spearmen.
Running, not rolling or dodging, in circles around tengu will prevent you from getting hit by the crows. Perfect parrying tengu will also interrupt the crow barrage momentarily. Tengu should be targeted prior to most other enemies and dealt with from the smoke and shadows for best results.
Chapter 1
This story starts with the ghosts aiding a fisherman in need. The village has been taken by both Mongols and demons. The fisherman aims to free his friend with your help, and help you provide. After clearing the enemies and rescuing the friend, you are tasked with taking the friends boat and saving Otsuna village.
Objectives
- Rescue the fisherman’s friend
- Destroy the tengu and guards
- Rescue the fisherman
- Enter the Torii Gate to save the village
Chapter 2
The ghosts arrive to find Otsuna village had been visited by death and destruction. They rescue more villagers while laying waste to their enemies only to find out the onibaba, Iyo, is involved. With the village cleared, the villagers explain the tengu travelled from a cave near the old monastery in the mountains.

Chapter 3
More Mongols and tengu are found and defeated on the journey. The ghosts travel to the cave where they sense something unnatural and beyond human inside. With the tengu having been defeated, the ghosts encounter Kojiro, once blessed by the spirits but now cursed by Iyo and in her service. With Kojiro slain, Iyo no longer controlled the tengu and was unable to rally the people to her cause.
