Caravan of Thieves
Caravan of Thieves is the sixth story mission of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. It revolves around recovering sacred relics that have been stolen by the Mongols for profane purposes. The sacred relics are rumored to contain spirits; sometimes of a kami and other times of a demon.
Game Mechanic – Barrels
Barrels can be a useful aid, especially against large groups of Mongols. There are three types: Fire, Spike, and Hallucinate. To activate each, shoot with a bow, blowgun, or bomb pack. Note that some enemy attacks may activate the barrels rendering them ineffective.
Fire barrels explode when activated dealing explosion damage then applying fire damage over time to all enemies nearby.
Spike barrels produce a ring of spikes when activated similar to caltrops. Enemies will take damage to health as well as stagger damage for each spike they walk over.
Hallucinate barrels release a cloud of purple gas that hallucinates enemies within range. Hallucinated enemies will attack anyone, ghost and Mongol alike, and are identified by the stagger bar turning from white to purple.
